To accept payment with bonuses:

In the open receipt on your POS go to the Customer tab in the top left corner.
Start entering a name, phone number or loyalty card number, choose a customer from the list and tap Apply.
Go back the Receipt tab and tap Pay.
In payment window choose Use bonuses.
Tap Pay.

☝🏻 If you don’t have Use bonuses field in payment menu, that’s mean that your customer is not in cash-back rewards program or he doesn’t have any bonuses to use.

In order not to pay for products or categories of products with bonuses, add them as exclusions.

How to redeem or accrue bonuses?

After scanning the customer’s card, you will be able to see all their information: their name, bonus balance, and the date of their last visit.

You need to log in to your Poster account. If you have a Connect account, you need to log in to that!

Set up a bonus loyalty system so that customers can accumulate bonuses and use them to pay the bill or part of it. To do this, create customer groups and set up the rules for transitioning between bonus groups.

Creating customer groups

Create customer groups to set up bonus accrual.

Add customer groups to set up bonus collecting. To do this:

Go to Marketing → Customer groups in the management console.

Click Add.
Name group, e.g. “5%”.
In Loyalty program field choose the Cash-back rewards system.
Enter bonus size, e.g. “5%”.
In Birthday bonus field enter bonus size which will be automatically enlisted to a customer on birthday.
Click Add.

We recommend setting up the following automations, as they demonstrate high conversion rates and help improve customer engagement:

1. Bonus Reminder – notifying customers about their available bonuses to encourage them to make a purchase.

Setting Up the “Bonus Reminder” Automation:

Go to Marketing → Automations and click Create.
Enter the name: “Bonus Reminder”.
Select the trigger: “Last Visit” and set the number of days since the customer last visited.
Click “Continue”. In the “If” field, select “Customer Balance”, choose the operator “Greater than or equal to”, and enter the bonus amount.
Choose “Send Push” and specify the title and message:

Title: “Hi, {{user.info.FIRST_NAME}}”
Message: “You have {{user.balance}} bonus points on your account!”

Click “Save” – the automation will start automatically.

2. Birthday – a personalized birthday greeting for the customer, including a special gift.

Setting Up the “Birthday” Automation:

Go to Marketing → Automations and click Create.
Enter the name: “Birthday”.
Select the trigger: “Birthday” and set the number of days before the birthday to send the reminder.

How to create the "Sixth Coffee Free" promotion:

Open the Marketing → Promotions tab in the admin panel.
Click the Add button.
Set the name and duration of the promotion.
Specify the establishments where the promotion will apply: either across the entire network of establishments or only in selected ones.
In the Promotion Conditions block, choose the categories or items the promotion will cover.
Set the order condition to Exactly and enter "5" in the field for the required number of items in the order to receive the bonus.
In the Accumulation Conditions field, select With accumulation of quantity or amounts in several receipts.
Select the participants of the promotion.
In the Promotion Results block, specify the bonus item the customer will receive. In our case, only registered clients will get coffee for $0.01. The bonus item is given after fulfilling the promotion conditions — purchasing five cups of coffee.
Click Add.

To apply a promotion with accumulation, such as "Sixth Coffee Free":

Add the client's card to the order:

Select the promotional item and go to the Client tab.
Start entering the client's name or phone number, choose the card from the list, and apply it to the receipt.
