# Creating UTM Tags

# What are UTM tags?

UTM tags are special URLs used to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They help analysts understand where traffic is coming from and which sources bring the most benefit.

## How to create a UTM link?

1. Go to the **Settings** - [UTM tags](https://admin.loyallyst.com/settings/utm?sortKey=createdAt&sortOrder=DESC) menu.
2. Click the **Create** button.
3. Specify the name of the traffic source, then click **Save**.
4. In the **Actions** column, you can copy the link or download a QR code to interact with the UTM tag.

## How to get statistics?

Go to the **Loyalty - Customers** menu.

1. At the top, select the period for which you want to obtain statistics.

2. Then click the "**Add filter +**" button and select the "**Tags**" option.

3. Select the UTM tags by which you want to display the statistics.

4. Obtain the statistics, which are displayed in the main table of this page.
